FRENCH MERINGUE WITH WALNUT by Emiko

























     Ingredients :
 - 2 egg whites
- sugar 120g
( about twice as much of egg white)
- walnut 100g

Directions :
1. Bake walnut 10 mins with the oven 130C° and chop roughly pieces.
2. Preheat the oven 120-130C°.
3. In a bowl, whip egg whites without sugar until they can hold a soft peak  with an electric mixer. Add 1/3 sugar and continue to whip and then add 1/3 sugar and continue to whip. Add final 1/3 sugar and continue to whip. When the mixture becomes stiff and shiny like satin, stop mixing.
4. Add the walnut and gently mix with spatula.
5. Transfer the mixture to a large pastry bag. Pipe the meringue out onto the baking sheet using a large round tip or use two tea-spoons to drop small amount.
6. Place the meringues in the oven and bake for 1 hour with 120-130 and down the temperature 100C° and bake for 1 hour more.
7. Keep it cool and dry.
