HUMUS





































YOU WILL NEED:

- 1 cup of chickpeas
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup tahini
3 gloves garlic 
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for serving
1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt, depending on taste
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 to 3 tablespoons water
  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine tahini and lemon juice. 
  2. Add the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin and the salt to whipped tahini and lemon juice.
  3. Add chickpeas and mix until thick and quite smooth.
  4. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water until the consistency is perfect.      
  5. Scrape the hummus into a bowl then drizzle about 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the top and sprinkle with paprika.
