For the cake:
250 g butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
pack vanilla sugar (16 g)
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to boil. Mix until the butter melts. Cool down.
Additionally:
2 ½ cup plain flour
2 heaped tsp baking powder
3 eggs
2 egg yolks
All ingredients should be at room temperature.
Add 3 eggs and 2 yolks into the cooled butter mixture and mix until smooth. Add sifted flour and baking powder, stir.
Line a 32 x 22 cm baking tin with baking paper and fill it with the batter. Bake at 170ºC for about 30 - 40 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
Let it cool and cut it into squares (I got 32 pieces).
For the chocolate glaze:
125 g butter
1 cup sour cream
10 tablespoons sugar
3 - 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
Bring all ingredients to the boil until the butter melts completely and until smooth.
Additionally:
300 g shredded coconut
Cover each square with the chocolate glaze (using some cutlery as it gets messy ;-), then cover them in coconut and set aside on a plate.
