Chicken liver with fruits


































 (4 portions)

400 g chicken liver
2 onions
1 - 2 apples (depending on size)
10 plums
3 figs (optional)
salt, black pepper, marjoram, balsamic vinegar
milk to soak 

Wash the livers and soak them in milk for 2 hours (or for the night). Then wash them and dry well on a paper towel. Cut off the white, tough parts.

Slice the apples and figs, cut plums in 4 parts.

Slice onions and fry on olive oil till soft. Add the fruits and a handful of marjoram.  Fry for 5-7 mniutes. Add livers and fry stirring gently for 5 minutes,  than cover with a lid and take of fire. Let it stay covered for 3 more minutes. 


Add salt and pepper and more marjoram, season with a bit of balsamic vinegar.
