Recipe for rice


















Ingredients :
2 cup of  basmati rice
4 cup of water(for water measurement please take the same cup as for rice).
2 red onions.
Clarified butter.
2 cloves
1 black cardamon 
1 bay leaf 
 4 black pepper 
Very small piece of cinnamon 
Cumin seeds.
Garam masala.
Salt according to taste.

Method:
1. If you are taking basmati rice then wash it properly and soak it for 15 minutes . 
2. Take a pan add clarified butter,when butter is little hot add cumin seeds.
3.Then grind all other spices( except bay leaf) and add into the oil.
4. Then add bay leaf.
5.Saute it for 1 minute and add finely chopped onion.
6. Saute it till onion become transparent.
7.Drain water from rice,then put it in the pan with salt and very little garam masala.
8.Saute it for 5 minutes and add 4 cup of water.
9.boil it high flame and when there is very little water left,slow down the flame and cover the pan with the lid.
10. Keep checking it till rice is fully cooked and serve hot.
